An Appalachian Bear's Book Den

A blog of all the books that I've read. Please bear in mind that I do not suffer through books that don't engage me or those that aren't well written, so you won't see books rated very low on my 1-10 scale. I read mostly 10's and 9's, with a few 8's thrown in there for good measure! Occasionally I'll mention some I didn't finish. I welcome comments as long as you aren't rude or mean-spirited. Reopening this Blog

I am sorry that I've not been here for a very long time but you know how it is when life sort of gets in the way of your best-laid plans! So keep an eye out for the new and improved reviews of books I've read, and come back soon, ya hear? :)

Hi Kathryn, It's nice to meet you... Have I met you before --a few years ago???? Your blog/name sounds a little familiar...

Where do you live? I grew up in Big Stone Gap, VA --in those gorgeous Appalachian Mountains...

Hi Betsy! Yes, we did meet some years back. I hope you will visit my new blog, at http://arty-kat.blogspot.com My home is not far from your childhood hometown, which I have visited and love. Have you read Adriana Trigiani's books set in BSG? I have and really enjoyed them.
